More information for both editing and authoring are reported in the FAQs (in Italian only). Create a DVD in two steps — the easy recipe You need:
⌘ MPEG Streamclip 1.3.1 (or earlier)
⌘ mpeg2 playback component for QuickTime
⌘ Roxio Toast Titanium 6.0.7 (or earlier)
How to proceed:
- Launch MPEG Streamclip:
- open the recorded movie directly on the Dreambox
- if needed, edit it by removing ads and trimming video
- choose "File|Demux to headed M2V and M1A..." and export it locally
- Launch Toast, then:
- choose "Video", PAL
- Choose video tracks (only the .m2v, Toast will add automatically the .m1a file with the same name)
- in case of multiple movies choose "Create DVD Menu" (do not activate "Auto-Play itams" if you don't want to have a menu and automatically skip it and jump to the first movie)
- burn the DVD, or save it as a disk image (⌘D)
By operating in this way movies are not decompressed end/or compressed, and they will be burned on the DVD with the same exact quality they have been received, that is the best quality you can achieve, and using only the time needed for demux and multiplexing.
In case of multiple languages you can choose which language to use, then proceed. That's all. |
